April 2012 Support Group Meeting

The next meeting of Parents of ADD/ADHD Kids will be held on Wednesday, April 11th at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Emmanuel (Christian and Missionary Alliance) at 106 Central Street (Route 140) in Foxboro. It is a large white church halfway between Foxboro Center and the Job Lot plaza, next to Foxfield Tire. Enter the parking lot from the church's right, and choose the single-door entrance located next to the white house (the youth pastor's residence). The meeting room is located up the stairs and on your first right. Meetings are open to any parent/guardian of an ADD/ADHD child and are for adults only. Welcome to ADD/ADHD Kids

Parents of ADD/ADHD Kids was established in 2003 by two mothers of ADHD sons. Our mission is to help parents cope with the challenges of raising an ADD/ADHD child. We provide a nurturing environment of understanding, while sharing stories, strategies and a host of relevant information. We meet monthly (except July & August); generally the second Wednesday of each month at the Church of Emmanuel in Foxboro, Massachusetts (see posting above for directions), from 10:00 am to noon. Anyone who is a parent/guardian of an ADHD child may become a member. There is no cost. The group draws people from a very wide geographic area ranging from the western suburbs to southeastern Mass. Foxboro is a central location where we were able to find meeting space – we have no affiliation with the town. Meetings are for adults only. You may be added to our email list if you would like to receive occasional items of interest and meeting reminders, even if you are unable to attend meetings.
